April 28th, 2014

Well this week was great!
Daniel was baptized! I forgot my camera this week so I had to borrow Elder William's.
This week we were able to teach 20 lessons! Västerås is great!

The baptism was great and I got to play harmonica while the three other elders sang. We played the song "happy day" Daniel had showed it to us a few days earlier and so we suprised him... he loved it!

We got a call yesterday that Elder Williams is getting transfered to Örnsköldsvik and I am getting a new companion named Elder Brown. I am excited, but sad to have Elder Williams leave, we had some really great times together.

Other then that I am doing absoloutly fantastic!!!

Love you all,

Well this week was good!
On Tuesday we got to go to David and Idas, and David showed us a video that his friends made of his bachelor party. There were about 10 of them and they snuck into his apartment and hid in his bathroom and when he got home they had him dress up as Flash (Davids favorite superhero) and run around Västerås dressed up. It was super funny.
Both David and his wife went to California for 9 days so we won't be able to go over there on Tuesday.
It's super funny, we call him Master splinter and we are the four ninja turtles (I'm michelangelo).
(we talk about superheros alot when we're there)
On friday I got to go to Missionary Leadership Training in Stockholm, which was fun. It was cool and a little weird to see my last area. The training was really good.
Daniel is getting Baptized on Saturday, woot woot! I am really excited.
Other than that, we trackted alot, it was fun though.
another good week.
Love

April 14th, 2014

Well this week was great,
I got to teach Preisthood meeting in swedish, which was interesting because I was asked to teach it right after Sacrament meeting so I had like no time to prepare it. It went well though, it was about the sacrament and how important it is that we remember what it really means to take the sacrament.
I realize that a lot of the time we just take it and don't think that much about it, I would challenge each and everyone of you to think about it more... it's amazing how important it really is.

We were planning on baptizing Daniel on Saturday, but the branch president felt like it would be better next week because this weekend is Easter and he didn't feel like a lot of people would be able to come, so we are planning on doing it next week. He asked me to confirm him, I am thrilled and excited to do it!

Inger is doing well-ish... she called us and told us that she prayed and she felt like she needed a little more time before we met again. We moved her baptismal date to the 17th of May.

Everything is going great here, I'm loving my mission and I feel like time goes by so fast. I wish I could write more.

April 6th, 2014

Well this week was great as always, and even better because of General Conference. I really liked the talk that president Monson gave at the end of Saturday morning session on the pure love of Christ.
It was great to see the pottery barn going up... I wish I were there to help!
This week was exciting, I got to go on splits with Elder Zaugg who is one of the Zone leaders which was really fun, we were in Västerås so I knew the way around and while we were on splits we got to teach Inger, the lady that we met with the first day in Västerås... The lesson went really well, and we are helping her prepare to be baptized on the 26th of April which is just a few weeks away.

Daniel is still doing well and was even able to watch General Conference with us four missionaries in the Church for the last hour of theSaturday Morning session. It was super good. I still haven't been able to watch the last session but we will when we get the chance to.

I love you all and I hope that you are all doing well!!!

March 31st, 2014

Hey,
Well this week was great... on Monday we got to go to a Viking burial ground (pictures will follow) which was super cool... The huge rocks were where they built their ships.

On Tuesday We spent most of the day in Enköping, a small town in our area... we met with two professional rugby players (one of them is a member) and taught the restoration... afterwards they let us use their bikes to ride around town and visit less actives.
later in the day we ended up trackting into a pretty positive kid named Felix who was really interested in the book of Mormon, when we gave him one you could see the excitment and he said that he really felt like he would find some answers, I hope he does.
Later that evening, we got to go to David and Ida's apartment for a lesson, dinner and phase ten... they have the missionaries over EVERY Tuesday. They are both super nice and they come to church every week even though Ida's not a member.

Other highlights of this week:
Daniel who we have been teaching and who is planning on getting baptized on the 19th of April bought us these super nice shirts (pictures will follow) we kept telling him not to but he did anyways... not only that be he brings food for us every time we have a lesson.

We found out that one of our other investigators is an MMA fighter and he has never lost a fight. He is half Phillipino and half Swedish, super nice guy and he speaks English with us.

We met this old guy sitting out and we contacted him and asked him if we could meet sometime... he said sure... it turnes out he's from turkey and has lived here since 1991 but he still doesent understand very much Swedish and no English, as we were teaching him, he pulled a Turkish book of Mormon out of his cubboard and told us that he got it from a missionary. He also said that he read a little and liked it. It is super hard because there is such a launguage barrier, but I think that there is some potential.

I wish I could tell you guys all the awesome things that are going on here, but I will just have to save it for another time.

Love you all,
Äldste Peterson

This is just a cool street near to where we play Innebandy... and its getting really light here by the way. (we had daylight savings yesterday)

Viking graveyard.... It felt like that part in Brave when she is in the circle of big rocks.
